Will I get seasick? Will I like it? Do I want to invest quite a sum of money in sailing classes and then realize that it is not for me?

Yachting Vacations has the answer. We offer an "Introduction to Sailing" program to people that are intrigued by the sport but don't know yet if they will really like it.
We will take you on a one-day or two-day sailing trip on beautiful Charlotte Harbor.
Charlotte Harbor is a large expanse of water, protected from the Gulf of Mexico by the barrier islands of Sanibel, Captiva, Cayo Costa and Gasparilla. There are many quiet anchorages and world-class marinas in the area. During the trip, we will show you the basic techniques of sailing on one of our meticulously maintained yachts and we will let you handle the boat by yourself. you will get you a pretty good idea of what sailing is all about.

The one-day trip costs $150.00 per person (min.2, max. 4). We will leave in the morning around 9:00AM and return around 4:00PM. Weather and time permitting, we can anchor out for lunch (and maybe a refreshing swim) or dock at a marina/restaurant for lunch (lunch is not included).

The two-day trip costs $450.00 per person (min.2, max. 4). We will leave on the first day at around 9:00AM and return at around 4:00PM the following day. We will spend the night at anchor or at one of the local marinas (overnight docking fee at other marinas is extra).
Breakfast and lunch are included in the fee.

Why not start the adventure of a lifetime with an "Introduction to Sailing" class?

Contact us at (800) 447-0080, at (941) 637-6634 or e-mail us at info@yachtingvacations.com for more details. (This class does not give you an ASA sailing certification)

Fair Winds!

ASA 105 and 106 Class, January 28 - February 3, 2012

Overnight passages can be some of the most fun sailing you can experience but you need quite a few new skills to be safe.
Join our 5-day ASA certification class for 105 and 106 (Advanced Coastal Navigation and Advanced Coastal Cruising) starting on January 22.
